Cottage. Rain. Read the whole novel*.

*The book is The Body in the Garden by Katherine Schellman, a Regency-era mystery with a determined heroine and a good sense of humour. I definitely recommend it if you need a cottage read or just a little fun. Now I’m on to The Last Dress in Paris, which a friend lent to me.

Amanda, I enjoyed your six-word memoir and how it arose from an interesting book. I hope you can have more reflective days before school begins.

Six-word memoir makes a perfect slice. (And returning your lovely note on my blog – your photos too make me smile. I am happy our paths have crossed in this interesting way.)

I like this six-word memoir! I also love the title of this book. It definitely gave me ideas that had nothing to do with Regency-era mysteries. I thought you were reading about growing your own food or growing medicinal plants or something … clearly this is where my head is at the moment. Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂
