Ha! A perfect slice. Pictures and labels. They tell a whole story!

After I nearly fell on my face by tripping over shoes, I laughed – a visual slice of my life!.

Same, my friend, same, although at some point I said F it, and started leaving my stuff around as well. No one else noticed. 🙂
Plus the dog likes to hoard our socks if they aren’t put away, so that’s an added fun treat to find in random places.

Honestly, I could leave everything everywhere and no one would notice – and if the dog took socks, the kids would just come steal mine!

LOL! A picture tells a story! I’m the only civilized one living in my house, meaning the only one who removed their shoes.

Right? Shoes off and, ideally, away!

Ari has a similar issue. He won’t put his shoes in the bin or a basket. They’re just OUT. It is maddening to the point where we can laugh about it. (Though I really would like him to put his shoes away!)

Maybe he will grow up to be more responsible than my two. I have given up for this season, but next winter… who knows?

Oh my goodness. We have the same problem at my house. Do they huff and puff when you ask them to clean up their shoes?!? Brilliant slice. I can relate!

New slice Mentor: a photo and labels!

I wish I took better pictures. Then I might do a slice like this. It needed no embellishment with narrative. Elegant, like a poem or good computer code. I have been trained very well in the shoe department. We don’t have a shoe mat, because we use less salt, because we’re not in Canada, but my shoes are left neatly by the door in the designated area! Or else. I am employing a diagram in my next slice, but I have lots of (excessive) narrative to go with it. I’m work in progress when it comes to brevity.

I absolutely adore your lack of brevity. Please, continue with all the words!

This photo could have easily been taken in my house, too! I’m constantly trying to figure out where the shoes came from and why there are so many. After reading the comments, at least you know you’re in good company!
