Speedy reading time! Way to slice about it, too. Good luck and enjoy the book club.

OK, but did you give feedback and hand back those papers from March Break? (insert laugh crying emoji here).

How can you possibly type this and not include the title!?! I found myself wanting to google 381 page books…and then I read Glenda’s comment and thought “Oh….that’s right…didn’t Amanda write something about reading The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store…” Hope you finish! It’s a great book 🙂 Or if it’s something else, and I’ve connected the dots totally incorrectly, just ignore this comment! lol

It was, indeed, The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store and I did finish!

Weighing in at under 15 words, this slice might be a new record holder! So few words, so much suspense!

I will be joining you in a few days because my book club is Wednesday and I haven’t even OPENED the book! (Clarice Lispector’s The Passion According to G.H.). Loved the brevity of this slice and how that brevity conveyed the pressure of trying to finish your book.

Fyi, since I finished the book I was able to start Saffy’s Angel last night. I think you (or your mother?) recommended it.
